Bill 62, further known as the religious neutrality law, was passed on Oct. 18 with a vote of 63-51. The bill forces people with face coverings to remove it while accessing public services. Many are criticizing Quebec’s bill for targeting Muslim women and is currently being challenged by the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM).
