What ending NAFTA means for Canadian agricultural trade in Canada

Since the inauguration of President Donald Trump, talks of NAFTA, the North American Trade Agreement, have been fruitless. According to the Toronto Star, Trump said multilateral trade agreements are too complex and not beneficial enough to the U.S.

Trump said instead, the U.S. government should peruse a bilateral trade agreement with Canada. However, many Canadians wonder what life without NAFTA would look like for Canadian agricultural trade.
